“ Hands down the BEST fish and chip shop in Melbourne! The food is always fresh, crispy, and absolutely delicious. But what really makes this place stand out is the customer service—Diego is incredible! He’s super friendly, always has a warm smile, and makes you feel genuinely welcome every time you walk in. It’s rare to find someone who clearly loves what they do and brings that kind of energy to their work. Can’t recommend this place enough—both for the food and the vibes! ”
“ I was passing through Caroline springs and stopped by The Springs Fish and Chips. Megs and Kathee make one of the best lamb burgers I've ever HAD. Definitely worth a try over the standard beef burger (which is my usual "go to" and has now been replaced with the lamb) The service was impeccable, both Kathee and Megan were all smiles and asking the small questions that add up to a lot - how much sauce, chicken salt or no? Would you like to try our famous calamari rings asking how my day was, where I was from and even complimenting my attire. The atmosphere in the store was warm and welcoming, everything was sparkling clean and spotless and they even had slurpeees on offer! Did I mention the gravy is beyond compare ”
“ Me and my girlfriend popped on a Monday night after our local fish and chip shop was closed. We were greeted with friendly owners who assisted us with the menu and recommendations. Inside was a very typical fish and chip shop however very clean and well maintained. We ordered the double pack which included 2x fish of the day (whiting in which one was switched for flake($2+)), 2 potato cakes, 2 dim sim, 2 canned drinks and a generous portion of chips all for $35 which was reasonably priced for the freshly made food. Additionally, one of the owners veeran ensured we were well accommodated double checking the order, making it in a timely manner and offering us fresh lemons. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back again definitely. ”
“ Incredible find in the area. We ordered a double Cheeseburger and a Burger with the lot with chips and we were blown away. Super fresh, the chips almost feel like they're hand cut - perfect amount of crisp and those yummy soft ones and the Burgers were absolutely huge with juicy and very generous patties - we are stoked to have tried these guys and will definitely be back. ”
“ I’m guessing they have new owners but all I can say is far better than the last person who run the shop. The chips are 100% better then before, love the crab sticks(gotta love how it’s called that on the menu) fluffy, not heavy and the batter is great, the flake is far better now, the batter frankfurter was great, home made potato cakes are the best I’ve had so far out in the west and it seems to have better quality of oil didn’t make us feel sick afterwards. Great job guys! Definitely support local guys! ”

Could not fault! Flake was amazing! Chips were perfect with extra chicken salt like we asked! Potato cakes were thick and crispy. Super happy as we are locals! ”

“ Was craving a fish and chip shop burger.. typed “fish and chips” in maps and this place came up. Was sooo satisfied! First of all the chips were PERFECT! Seasoned so well!! Then the burger was great too!! Didn’t fall apart how some from other show usually do.. but this one was perfect! Brioche bun, Egg was slightly runny, perfect amount of sauce. $18 for a burger pack which is slightly on the expensive side but I was so satisfied! The lady who served us was also very lovely! Also my nieces said the slurpies are the best here! Definitely would recommend! ”
